NH Legislation! What's going on in Concord?
New Hampshire has more House Representatives in our state than any other state has. And
it seems that each one of them is compelled to present new bills every year. This result in
potentially thousands of bills that must go through the hearing process and eventually face
a vote. Buried among all these bills are those which will have a profound affect on women and
families in New Hampshire. It is up to us, the citizens of New Hampshire, to tell our
representatives how we feel about those bills, whether we think a bill is good for us, or
whether we think a bill is bad for us. New Hampshire NOW, alone and with coalition partners
in the state, tries to save you the time and trouble of digging through all these bills. We present to you
the bills that we feel are most critical, as they relate to NOW's priority issues. We will follow
these and present testimony on them. But your House and Senate members need to hear from YOU!
